You are now entering the Woodchute Wilderness in the Prescott National Forest.

At the northern edge of the mesa one has a wide view toward (right to left) Bill Williams Mountain, Kendrick Peak and the San Francisco Peaks.
You also have a great view of the Verde Valley overlooking Clarkdale and Cottonwood.
